Job Title: Part-Time Bookkeeper

Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Part-Time Bookkeeper to manage day-to-day financial tasks, including maintaining accurate records in QuickBooks and generating reports using Excel and Quickbooks. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of accounting principles and strong organizational skills.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate financial records using QuickBooks
• Record day-to-day financial transactions and complete the posting process
• Reconcile bank, credit card, and vendor accounts
• Process accounts payable and receivable
• Generate monthly financial reports and assist with budgeting
• Prepare and organize documentation for tax filings and audits
• Support payroll processing, if required
• Maintain orderly financial filing systems
• Communicate with vendors and clients as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a bookkeeper or similar role
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (Online or Desktop)
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including use of formulas, pivot tables, and basic data analysis
• Solid understanding of bookkeeping and accounting principles
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
• Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working with small businesses or non-profits
• Familiarity with other accounting or payroll software
• Strong communication and organizational skills
