About the Role

Reporting directly to the CEO (the company's founder), the President will drive strategic growth, oversee commercial operations, and build high-performance teams in an innovative, purpose-driven environment. This is a rare opportunity for a seasoned leader ready to make a significant impact in a dynamic startup setting.

Responsibilities

Strategic Growth

  • Collaborate with the CEO to develop and execute the company’s strategic vision.
  • Design short- and long-term business plans and roadmaps that align with the strategic plan.
  • Coordinate cross-departmental efforts to ensure successful implementation of business initiatives.
  • Establish brand positioning and integrate it into business operations.
  • Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, customers, and external partners.
  • Lead strategic negotiations with commercial partners and high-priority potential customers.
  • Identify and nurture key relationships for investment, partnerships, and joint ventures.
  • Maintain strong connections with leadership, board members, and shareholders.

Leadership Team Management

  • Provide guidance to the leadership team comprised of C-level direct reports.
  • Prepare for and participate in board meetings and shareholder communications.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the CEO on strategic and day-to-day decisions.

Oversight of Commercial Operations

  • Lead teams to execute business plans effectively by integrating insights from across the organization.
  • Manage key commercial reporting systems and support forecasting for finance and inventory planning.
  • Aggregate and analyze data insights from across the organization to inform strategic decision-making.

Building High-Performance Teams

  • Embed the company’s core values throughout the organization.
  • Engage in company and team planning with the leadership team.
  • Foster a culture of alignment, accountability, and measurable success.

Qualifications and Required Skills

  • Proven Leadership: Extensive experience in business operations and executive leadership, preferably with a background in scaling medtech companies.
  • Strategic Expertise: Demonstrated ability to lead multiple departments and develop impactful business strategies.
  • Industry Insight: In-depth understanding of the U.S. medical market, including experience in selling to hospitals and private medical systems.
  • Purpose-Driven: Passion for scaling purpose-led businesses and aligning commercial and cultural goals.
  • Technologically Savvy: Proficient in leveraging technology within tech-centric environments.

Compensation

This role offers a competitive base salary commensurate with experience, combined with an equity package through meaningful options issuance.
