Job Description

We are seeking a seasoned Machine Learning Engineer to join our growing Data Science and ML team. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and business stakeholders across trading, operations, and support functions to develop, deploy, and scale impactful ML applications—especially in the domains of NLP, LLMs, and generative AI.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and deploy machine learning solutions across various business areas.
• Lead full ML project lifecycles—from business problem scoping to model deployment and integration.
• Apply LLMs and GenAI to solve real-world business challenges.
• Collaborate with tech and commercial teams to ensure alignment of solutions.
• Share expertise through code reviews, tooling guidance, and cross-team support.
• Integrate ML models into existing platforms and user-facing dashboards (e.g., Streamlit, Dash).

Qualifications

• Master’s in Computer Science, Data Science, or related field (Ph.D. a plus).
• 5–7+ years of experience building ML models in production environments.
• Proficient in Python and ML libraries (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Transformers).
• Hands-on experience with LLMs, GenAI design paradigms, and NLP techniques.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS), containers (Docker), and CI/CD pipelines.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to explain technical ideas to non-technical stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience in energy, commodities, or financial trading industries.
• Time series modeling and econometric approaches.
• ML workflow tools (Airflow, Dagster) and cloud-based ETL pipelines.
• Strong interest in commercial impact and real-world problem solving.
